Shattered (S, M, L) is a series of sculptural mirror objects that explore reflection as fragmentation. Developed as a physical study of light, angle and distortion. Shattered reinterpret reflection as an active and unstable condition. Rather than functioning as a passive surface, each piece transforms its surroundings through fragmentation, distortion and spatial tension.
Crafted from hand-shaped polished aluminium, the works capture natural and artificial light while continuously altering it. The smooth, reflective surface creates sharp yet shifting images of the environment, never fixed, always in motion. the polished aluminium is manipulated into geometric forms that disrupt and redirect reflection. Instead of offering a stable image, the objects continuously fracture and recombine their surroundings, creating shifting compositions in light and movement.
Depending on perspective and proximity, the objects oscillate between clarity and abstraction, object and atmosphere.
